Vaccines

  • AR COVID-19 Vaccination Plan  -  AR Department of Health's coordinated plan for vaccinations. It provides information on Phases of vaccine rollout plus statistics on statistics on doses received and given.
  • Vaccinate Arkansas   -  COVID-19 has been devastating to our communities. But now, thanks to the availability of new COVID-19 vaccines, we have an important tool to fight the pandemic. We need help from community leaders to equip community members with accurate information about the vaccines.
  • Vaccinate You Family  -  Vaccinate Your Family (VYF) builds on the important legacy of Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter and Former First Lady of Arkansas Betty Bumpers. Together, these pioneers worked to advance a national focus on protecting all people in the United States from vaccine-preventable diseases.
  • Arkansas COVID-19 Vaccine Pharmacies [Arkansas Pharmacists Association] - Lists of pharmacies by county and city providing COVID-19 vaccines to groups within Phase 1B of rollout.
  • Vaccination Considerations for People who are Pregnant or Breastfeeding  -  .CDC and the independent Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) have provided information to assist pregnant people with their decision to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. At this time, ACIP recommends that certain groups (e.g., healthcare personnel, followed by other frontline essential workers) are offered vaccination during the first months of the COVID-19 vaccination program. People who are pregnant and part of a group recommended to receive the COVID-19 vaccine may choose to be vaccinated. If they have questions about getting vaccinated, a discussion with a healthcare provider might help them make an informed decision.

  • COVID-19 Vaccine Comparison Chart As more and more people in the U.S. become eligible to get vaccinated, the hope of a return to normalcy by summer seems attainable. While herd immunity may never be achieved, the increased availability of effective vaccines puts the U.S. in a much better position than many other countries.
