The UAMS Medical Library offers a wide range of services for patients and families visiting our clinics, hospital and campus. Patients and families are invited to visit the library which is located in the Medical Education II (ED 2) building adjacent to the hospital [East side of campus].

Medical Librarians are available and happy to provide assistance in locating authoritative health information describing medical conditions and diseases, drug information and research materials.

The Library also provides access to online health information via our website http://Library.uams.edu  and library staff will assist you on designated computers located on the main floor of our Library. The Library does provide wifi access if you bring your own laptop or mobile device. Additionally, visitors may request assistance by contacting us via phone at 501-686-6734 or via the Ask a Librarian form. Librarians may be reached from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The Library Building is open Monday through Thursday 7:30 am – 10:00 pm; Friday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am -6:00 pm; Sunday 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
