UAMS employees and students may apply for a Central Arkansas Library System borrower's card by completing an online application on their website or in person at any CALS branch library.  Beginning March 1, 2020, CALS will charge an annual non-resident fee for any patron not residing or paying taxes in the CALS service area. NOTE: CALS delivery and pick up has resumed for the UAMS campus September 2020

The UAMS Library may be selected as a pick-up location for materials reserved online through the CALS website, www.cals.org.  

Use the CALS website to find your item, then click on the “Request It” button to enter name, library card number and PIN number to hold the material. Then choose the UAMS Library as the pick-up location. Library patrons can choose to be notified by email or text when their held item is ready for pick up.  Items are delivered to the Circulation Desk and may be picked up anytime the UAMS LIbrary is open.
