For residents with research that is currently focused on basic science but have a goal to move from "bench-to-bedside" and/or from "bedside-to-community," the UAMS Translational Research Institute (TRI) has a number of resources to assist all UAMS researchers through the process of translating research into health care advances: 

• Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design
• Research Services and Support (protocol development, budget development, regulatory information, etc.)
• Biomedical Informatics (RedCAP, CRIS)
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement (consultations on community-engaged research, assistance with participant registries)

TRI also provides general request assistance in the areas of research forum, mock study sections, and consultations.
