ARKLink is a nonprofit organization of 52 college and university libraries cooperating to deliver services and collections to researchers in Arkansas.
Our mission is to increase, enhance, and facilitate cooperation among libraries in the state of Arkansas through consortial purchasing of resources, expanding access to resources, and encouraging partnerships between and among libraries.
ARKLink member libraries can be found throughout Arkansas.
ARKLink member libraries participate in a statewide reciprocal borrowing program using the ARKLink Card, allowing students to borrow books from other participating members. (*See below how to register for an ARKLINK Card).
ARKLink member libraries also participate in a courier service delivering materials to member libraries quickly and inexpensively.
ARKLink libraries steward our funds through cooperative purchasing and collection building programs enabling member libraries to maximize their materials budgets.
ARKLink is governed by a Board of Directors, an Advisory Committee, and delegates from each member institution. A memorandum of understanding and bylaws provide policies and procedures for the work of ARKLink.
UAMS employees and students may obtain an ARKLink card from the Library that enables them to check out materials directly from other participating college and university libraries in Arkansas. When planning your visit to other Arkansas college and university libraries, please check the ARKLink participating Libraries list to determine their participation in ARKLink.
How it works:
If you are interested in using the ARKLink program as an employee or student of UAMS, please see the ARKLINK website for more information about the service and user responsibilities.
