Overview

In February 2013, The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) issued a statement that all federal agencies with $100 million or more in research and development funding needed to create public access policies and enforce them.

Listed below are federal agencies with public access policies and their data management and article repository requirements.

Though not a federal agency, many researchers may be interested to know that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also now has an Open Access Policy as of January 1, 2021.
