Welcome to the Research and Scholarly Activity Guide. This guide is oriented to help residents and junior faculty in the completion of their scholarly projects. The Guide can also be used by anyone new to the UAMS campus or new to the creation of posters or the writing of papers.
The guide offers resources and starting points for the following:

Medical Education Scholarship requires a few general steps, no matter what you do, or who you are:

Adequate preparation, to include understanding prior scholarship

Methods that match the goals and follow from prior scholarship

Results that are meaningful and honest

Dissemination of results with clear, organized presentation

Reflective critique, in the context of prior scholarship and study limitations
