The UAMS Library notifies the UAMS Police, college administration or department concerning any criminal behavior in the library area.  Activities which draw particular attention include, but are not limited to: theft, vandalism, exhibitionism, and/or assault, including verbal threats, and inappropriate materials found on Library computer workstations. 

In addition, abuse of library resources and property is prohibited, including but not limited to:

• marking, highlighting or underlining text, removing pages, portions of pages, or bindings
• concealing library materials for the exclusive use of an individual or group
• theft of library property or the personal property of Library users or staff
• vandalizing or defacing the library building, furniture or equipment
• use of a network account belonging to another individual

Violators are responsible for the cost of replacing damaged items or materials.
