UAMS students and residents will have after-hours access to library space on floors 1 through 3.
ENTRY :
After the Library is closed, students and residents may enter through the Library front entrance or the Active Learning Center door in the North Lobby of the ED II Building and the Rahn (COPH) Building.
Panic alarms are placed throughout the Library to be used to notify the UAMS Police in an emergency. Video cameras throughout the library are in use.
Students in the Library when the service desk closes for the day who wish to remain in the Library must have their badges scanned by library staff members.
Employees, faculty, and Individuals who are not current and active UAMS students or residents are not permitted to be in the after-hours area when the Library is closed. This includes family members, spouses, children, and/or friends. There are no exceptions.

Maintaining the safety of students and residents using the after-hours study space is our highest priority. Therefore, it is vital and imperative that everyone follow these important guidelines:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The safety of all who use the after-hours areas is our paramount concern. Failing to follow these safety points jeopardizes the safety of everyone in the after-hours areas. Students and residents failing to follow these guidelines will be reported to college deans.
