KidsHealth

KidsHealth is provided by The Nemours Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the health of children, in association with a number of children's hospitals, insurers, other nonprofits,a nd corporations.  KidsHealth provides information for children of all ages from small children to teens.  Small children can learn how the body works, explore their feelings, and learn how to stay healthy and safe.  Teens can learn more about sexual health, after school jobs, alcohol, drugs, and sports health.

healthychildren.org is a site provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).  The site covers children's health from before birth to young adult.  Health living, safety and prevention issues, normal development, and family life are the centers of this website.  Common health conditions, injuries, emergencies, and vaccine preventable diseases are also covered.

MedlinePlus - Children's Health

MedlinePlus - Children's Health includes topics covering physical, mental, and social well-being.  The MedlinePlus site brings together educational information from a variety of sources to give the most complete picture of child health.  Prevention issues, diagnosis of common symptoms, and therapies for common illnesses are included.

CHIP - Children's Health Insurance Program

The Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) website provides information on insurance coverage for children through state and federal funding.  The site includes information to help determine if your child is eligible for either Medicaid or CHIP in your state.
